However, if Szczecin is on your itinerary at another time, you can be sure we are looking forward to seeing you in the port.
The ‘Szczecin – Friendly Port’ programme offers a package of services for sailing ships and historic vessels during their stay in Szczecin for three days. All of which are financed from the city budget.

Our expectations

We hope you will take advantage of our proposal and collaborate in improving the programme, and on top of that:
notify the Sailing Centre in Szczecin of your ship’s visit at least one week before the arrival, provide information about the ship, voyage and the crew, and a photo of the ship with the authorisation to publish it in the media and on the City’s website,
open your deck to the public.
We believe that visits by sailing ships and historic vessels to Szczecin will provide the inhabitants, young people participating in the maritime education programme, and tourists with an opportunity to enjoy maritime tradition and culture and, above all, extraordinary people.
